The rest of day 1, Pics will go up when I have WiFi....

So we are all wating at the Gate 39 at Miami International, for
boarding of flight 775 to St Thomas. 11 comes and goes and no boarding
has taken place. We come to find out, one of the flight attendants
didn't show up…..argh. Finally, they get someone to come in for the
flight, after about an hour delay, and we quickly board and depart the
gate area. Well, as you ready by my previous entry…..thunderstorms are
now in the area and we have to shut the engine down. I fully blame the
flight attendant that didn't show up.

This puts me into a tight spot because I am supposed to meet with Cleo
Hodge of Ace Flight Center in St Thomas. I call Cleo and see if he can
be later, to which he cant. Darn, do I miss my chance to fly? Who
knows…..

By the way, sitting behind me on the flight are ElijahDoll and her
friend. They were entertaining to say the least ha!

Get to St Thomas Finally around maybe 4?, and get my bag, hmmm, now
about getting to the other side of the airport? Might as well get a
Cab. I find a group of girls going to Emerald Beach Resort and I ask
him to drop me off at Ace, on the north side of the runway…. Poor
girls, that cab driver charged them 10 dollars EACH to get to Emerald
Beach….1/4 mile down the road. I told him that was way too high and
Ill walk from there, so he says he will do it for 4….done.

Ace Flight Center: A huge operation run out of half of a trailer….As
I pull up, I finally meet Cleo. He was running for a charter flight,
but he hooked me up big time. Mason, a pilot that moved here about 7
months ago had to fly the Aztec to Virgin Gorda, and then to Tortola
and then back, but he wants me to ride along….oh and he agreed to do
some sightseeing too ha!

Everything moves on island time,,,,,,,,

We head out from St Thomas towards VG and do a little tour. Its now
cloudy and rainy but it still is beautiful. After about a 30 minute
tour we flew by Tortola, Jost Van Dyk, Virgin Gorda, St John….and then
back to STT. The purpose of the trip was to pick up about 200 checks
being sent to san juan…..but the fringe benefit was that I didn't have
to pay anything! Problem was, it took a LONG time, lots of
conversation to catch up on apparently hahah!

Mason was amazing, and Im gonna upload some pictures from the flight,
but Im gonna say this, Virgin Gorda airport was INSANE to land at,
WOW!!! He also saved me bigtime by driving me to the American Yach
Harbor to meet my Yacht…Lucy's Two.

By now its dark, and im not finding the boat, hungry, sweating, and
just bleh. I get some grub and a margarita at Mollys Irish Pub, and
get a call from the head guy at Fair Winds…Boat is right around the
corner….. I meet the Captain, Erin, and then got told Brian and I had
to share the bunk berth…..oh joy…. Not a huge deal, just a little
cramped! Spent some time listening to the music, and then went ahead
and tried to take a shower, but couldn't find it. Just washed my face,
switched out my contacts with glasses, and went back to the boat to
get ready for bed… Going to do some Scuba Diving tomorrom uo at the
buttcrack of dawn….but hey as Capt Ron says…"Dawn Comes Early On A
Boat….Happens Every Morning, Just about Sunup!!
