Wrapup

Have been quite busy! The pirates are fine and I'll give you some recap on the past few days...

Friday night we slept in white bay, anchored. It was a perfect night looking at the stars. The next morning we went over to great harbor and registered for the regata, Foxy's 14th annual Cat Fight! There were two races and it was a staggered start and we didn't think we had a chance! We had fun and that's all that mattered!

After the race we headed to Foxys for the awards and Halloween party BBQ. We all went as pirates and it was awesome! We didn't end in last, but placed sixth! (out of 10... I was so happy with that')

We ended up in bed earlier than usual but we needed it!

This morning we explored Sandy Cay, played in the waves and walked trails around the island. There are thousands of hermit crabs there!

We did one last sail over to Sopers and turned in fishing gear to Island Surf and Sail, and then motored to Caneel Bay, St John. We moored there and took a long wet dinghy ride, and literally we almost sank the thing, so when we stopped we bailed bailed bailed'

We cleared customs and then had happy hour at Woodys, and took another wet dinghy ride back to the boat.

We will spend the next few hours cleaning cleaning cleaning cleaning, and then relax for the remainder of the evening, for tomorrow we depart and leave the islands ... Trying not to think about that!!

Cool cool cane garden bay...

Yesterday after our dinghy got fixed we were left trellis we headed for the baths, this is a crazy set of rocks that make all kinds of caves and pools that you can crawl around in. We got there around noon and grabbed the last national park mooring ball. We all hopped in the dinghy and motored to Devils bay, tied off the dinghy and swam in. We spent Two hours playing on the rocks, taking pictures and exploring.it was great! There are some leaves that we wrote on last year, kind of etching our names in them, we found matt and jackie's! Nobody elses tho Hahah.

After finishing the baths we high tailed it back to the dinghy, and got to the boat to head out. We were underway by 215 and took the Great Camone pass right by Guana Island. This put us just off of Monkey Point, some of the best snorkeling! We just dint have time for it though.

We went wing on wing for an hour or so and then went on a broad reach into cane garden bay. We got there right before sunset, and there was just nowhere easy to anchor so we picked up a mooring ball, and had the cutest kid collect the fee "if you take my picture, don't put me in the paper!"

BBQ chicken was on the menu and we burned it like crazy, but it was good good good. After dinner some of the crew went ashore and some stayed on the boat, it was a relaxing evening.

We were woken up around 2 for heavy showers and so we had to shut all the hatches quickly, but as soon as we did, the rain stopped, Hahah!

It's morning and coffee is being made; another day in paradise. Next stop: white bay and the soggy dollar! You'll be able to see us at
